Star Wars The Book of Boba Fett Food Art School Lunch Recipe

Have you been enjoying The Book of Boba Fett on Disney+ like we have? This show has received mixed reviews but I’m here for any show or movie that features the legendary bounty hunter. He was my favorite Star Wars villain growing up, I even dressed like him for Halloween one year. The guest appearances by other epic Star Wars characters like The Mandalorian, Grogu (Baby Yoda), Jawas, and Tusken Raiders are just bonuses.
Because of the fun that we’ve been having experiencing the series as a family, I had to make my kids a Boba Fett food art school lunch to celebrate. This lunch features a Boba sandwich, Baby Yoda side of fruit, and Jawas dessert. Keep reading to find out how to make it for your kids!
Ingredients: Whole wheat bread, sliced turkey, sliced cheese, cream cheese, snap peas, red sweet pepper, black olives, dried mango, kiwi, blueberries, graham cracker crumbs, Hershey Kisses, dried cherries, yellow fondant or yellow candies.
1. Cut two slices of bread into the helmet shape. Place turkey and cheese in the middle of the bread to make the sandwich. Spread cream cheese on top of the sandwich.
2. Cut sweet pepper and snap peas to make the green and red parts of the helmet. Arrange them as shown and press them into the cream cheese so that it holds it on. Do the same with sliced black olives and place the helmet in the main compartment of the lunchbox. Surround with dried mango. Optional: Place one whole black olive on a kabob stick and lay it next to the helmet to complete the Boba Fett look.
3. Cut the skin off of one kiwi. Cut the ends off. Cut a kiwi in half and take the skin off one half. Cut Baby Yoda’s ears out of that skinless half. Place ears on side of other kiwi and hold them on the head with a toothpick. Cut lines for eyebrows and mouth out of kiwi head and attach blueberry eyes with toothpicks. You can use the other piece of kiwi with skin on to make his robe if you like. Place in side compartment with more blueberries as the background. This Grogu kiwi was inspired by @cutechichai on Instagram.
4. Fill other side compartment with graham cracker crumbs. Flatten dried cherry and cut to fit on Hershey Kiss. Press onto kiss. The stickiness of the cherry should keep it on. Use two small dabs of yellow fondant or yellow candies as the eyes. The fondant should stick on using a very small bit of water.
